The Armored Rose is a book about Women Fighters in the SCA, it was written by Duchess Elina of Beckenham, modernly known as Tobi Beck. The book deals with the psychology and physiology of women fighters. It also includes a number of stories about fighting and experiences along with flip diagrams showing different blows and how they are thrown.

I read the Book for the first time day before yesterday and it was wonderfull, I loved it. When I was through I went outside, picked up my sword, got my honey to pick up his and aquiered some really nice bruises. They were the best bruises I have ever gotten. The book helped me with my confidence and made me want to fight that much more. I got one of my girlfriends to read the book as well, and we both agree that it is a great book for any fighter to read. Thank you for all of your hard work writing it. I hope some day there will be an Armored Rose part two! Sincerly
